David W. Ingram
Prior to founding Five/I Enterprises, David served as Managing Director and General Counsel of an Atlanta-based private equity management firm. As the firm's Managing Director and General Counsel, he participated in all firm strategic and tactical initiatives, led transactions including sourcing deals and capital, conducting due diligence, managing legal teams and other outside advisors; structuring, documenting, closing and funding deals.
Prior to that role, David co-founded and was President of a multi-state builder marketing and construction lending company. In addition to leading the design, development and implementation of the company’s proprietary, web-based technology platform, he oversaw the sales and operations, growing the company to over 20 states, 50 distribution channel partners, 1,000 builders, and $200 million in closed loans.
Early in his legal career, he served as General Counsel of a publicly traded software and e-commerce company, and was an associate at a law firm representing clients in corporate, intellectual property, and real estate law.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of South Carolina and a Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
David lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his wife, Michele. They have three daughters.
